What about House Games? Like the Game Room, but whatever house has the most posts gets so mant points. You could do it so every house can participate on a collective board or they all have the same games in each common room. That would make it easier to keep track of, and people who don't have houses yet can't partcipate and throw off the count.

I've been considering the Inter-House competitions, which will come into play as soon as we have enough members and enough activeness.

Just a suggestion... What about games to do with Quidditch?

I remember there was one on a site I was on ages ago, and it kind of worked.. but not great.

There weren't seekers, If I remember correctly.
But instead there were teams of chasers, where they would have to post, kind of like a combination of bump and hurt and heal, and there was a tally, so for example:
Team 1 = 5
Team 2 = 5
and team one has to try and get their chasers to post fast enough to get their points to 10, while team two has to do the same things,
so lets say team one got there first and two of their chasers were posting, chaser 1, then chaser 2, then chaser 1 again. Taking them up to 8, while team 2 is on 2 now. Then suddenly, team 2's chasers come online, and bame, they post a few times, (not the same chaser twice of course) and so they were on 6, team 1 now on 4...
if that makes any sense.
It was weird and only kind of worked.
Created problems once a lot of people were online at once.

Just an example of how they got it to work without programs.-shrug-

This the problem we're having with our provider at the moment, I don't know it that's a good idea at the moment.

We'll look into it later.
