we do seem to be kind of egotistical don't we. Hmmm we should fix that, and truthfully i think we are all great houses in our own ways and that we work very well apart and even better together, every house has there bad and good kids so we're kind of all equal if you think about it.

Thank you, that was exactly what I'm getting at. We are meant to be equal, and arguing like that and insulting others isn't the way to express house pride at all.

Also, you may be right, Lilaandi, but I didn't read it that way. It seemed almost vicious at points, and it sort of got to me. Actually, it really got to me, the way this topic was going. It wasn't you, by the way. I apologize. Haha.

I agree Lildaani it is just light-hearted bickering for fun no harm is meant in it. We all know that truthfully we are best together and wouldn't be worth anything alone. Although some people do seem to be getting a little too into it.

Personally, I was just getting into character. And I just can't stand it when people lord intelligence over other people. That's my issue with Ravenclaws. I have lots of issues with all the houses. *gasp* Yes, even my own.

But I'm going to go make a note of this in the Slytherin common room. "It's fine to show house pride, but remember you're talking to real people, and they can't always know if you're joking," kinda thing. Perhaps this can/should be mentioned in the other common rooms as well?

Hehe, yeah. Every house has it's faults. Gryffindor seems to be jumping to conclusions and doing something not totally unfounded but sort of stupid, if Harry and I are any indication.
